Lowell Observatory

I went to the Lowell observatory (http://www.lowell.edu/), and in particular the Steele Visitor Center, in Flagstaff, with two crazy guys from Herriot-Watt University, Edinburgh. It was full moon and I got a nice look at it through a little portable telescope. Nearly blinded myself because they didn't have a lunar filter. Also got a nice look through one of their proper big telescopes at Albireo, a binary star sysem just off the Swan constellation. Sadly, couldn't get any pictures of them so, ....
